Hey guys sorry I haven’t posted anything in a while things have been super crazy! First our apartment got broken into and a bunch of our things got taken while we were upstairs asleep. No one ever tells you how much is involved in the clean up when something like that happens. Luckily we got all of our stuff back but then we decided to move to a better neighborhood so things have been pretty hectic around here lately. I am in the process of getting my kitchen back up and running and trying to find my camera so as soon as I get that done and I can begin to cook and craft again I will hopefully have some new recipes up for you guys! super excited to be in our new home and to have my loving husband beside me he is great!!!!
People keep asking me how I feel about The Marriage Amendment so I decided to answer it on here!!!
I believe that marriage is a holy ordained union between a MAN and a WOMAN come on now people it was Adam and Eve in The Garden of Eden not Adam and Steve and while I have nothing against homosexuals that DOES NOT mean that I have to agree with the way that they choose to live. This post is not about God hating homosexuals Jesus loves ALL people and he died for ALL people but he does say in his word that homosexuality IS a sin. As a christian I am called to love God and love people that does not mean love only the people who are like me and believe the exact same way as me. I know that someone actually probably a few people are going to disagree with me and that is fine you are entitled to your opinion just as I am entitled to mine. My relationship with my savior is the most important thing in the world to me and as long as I feel like I am living in a way that is pleasing to him than I see no need to change my views and beliefs to please anyone else! With that said I love each and every person that reads my blog and I’m sorry if this offends any of you but maybe that is the Lord doing a work in your heart! This is how I believe and I would love to hear everyone’s feed back!!!
My husbands birthday was yesterday! He turned 20 yay!!!! So for him on his birthday i made him a pot roast!!! Here’s how I did it:
First You need A 6oz. can of tomato paste, a 14.5oz. can of beef broth, and about 1 1/2 TBS. of Worcestershire Sauce.
Combine Beef Broth, Tomato Paste, & Worcestershire Sauce in a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth. If you’re not a big tomato fan just use half a can of the tomato paste.
Next cut up your veggies I used Onion, Carrot, And Potatoes but you can really use whatever you want to. Arrange the veggies on the bottom of the crock-pot this way they cook in the juices of the roast.
Now time for the meat I used a bottom round roast but it’s up to you what kind of roast you want to use. The bigger the roast the longer the cook time I used about a 2 1/2lb. roast. The more people the bigger the roast you’ll need.
Place the meat on top of the veggies and pour the broth mixture over top. Place the lid over the crock-pot and cook on low for 12 hours!
This is the end product of my husbands birthday meal he really enjoyed it and I hope you do to!
